The Student PIRGs' New Voters Project is building powerful partnerships with leading online, media, cultural and institutional partners that will maximize the grassroots field efforts:

Young Voter Strategies is a nonpartisan project of the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University with support from The Pew Charitable Trusts. They are committed to building on the huge turnout increase in 2004 and continuing the engagement of 18 to 30 year olds in our democratic process. Young Voter Strategies provides the public, parties, candidates, consultants and non-profits with data on the youth vote and tools to effectively mobilize this electorate.

MTV: Since its groundbreaking beginning in 1992, MTV's Choose or Lose campaign has educated and empowered millions of young people on the issues most important to them during the presidential campaign.

Rock The Vote: Founded in 1990 by leaders of the recording industry, Rock the Vote is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting freedom of expression and empowering young people to change their world.

World Wrestling Entertainment: The “Smackdown Your Vote” campaign create sopportunities to register young voters at events and include them in the ground-based GOTV efforts of the New Voters Project.

Hip Hop Summit Action Network: HSAN is dedicated to harnessing the cultural relevance of hip-hop music to serve as a catalyst for education advocacy and other societal concerns fundamental to the well-being of at-risk youth.

Campus Compact: A national coalition of over 900 college and university presidents committed to the civic purposes of higher education, Campus Compact will help bring the leadership and resources of college presidents and service leaders to systematic voter registration and mobilization efforts on campuses.

The Campaign for Young Voters: CYV takes a different approach to engaging young voters. By working to raise interest from and encourage action by candidates and political organizations, it provides an essential complement to the many organizations that work directly with young adults to encourage voting and civic participation. CYV uses its Candidate Toolkit, as well as workshops and other techniques, to instruct candidates and campaign staff, political party officials, political consultants, and grassroots organizations on how to understand, communicate with and turn out younger voters on Election Day.

Youth Venture: A national non-profit organization that empowers young people ages 12-20 by providing them all the tools necessary to create civic-minded organizations, clubs or businesses. We provide access to a variety of resources including: a national network of like-minded young people, media opportunities and up to $1,000 in seed capital needed to launch their organizations. We believe that youth inherently have the creativity and determination to create genuine change within their communities.
