2008 Highlights: The Primaries Go National
As the primaries turned national, so did the Student PIRGs' work to mobilize young voters.
Working in more than a dozen states, we appeared on the campaign trail to urge the candidates to continue to engage young voters directly in the issues we care about.
In the weeks leading up to Super Tuesday, student leaders recruited and trained by the Student PIRGs paired classic organizing with new technology in a massive effort to register young voters and turn them out to vote.
